WordPress Website Care Plans

Your website should support your business without becoming another job on your list. I handle routine WordPress maintenance, backups, monitoring and agreed content updates for a fixed monthly fee, so you have one person keeping an eye on the site and a clear place to ask for help.

Ongoing care for a WordPress site that is already working

website care plan

This plan is intended for service businesses that already have a WordPress website and want someone reliable to maintain it. It is a good fit if you do not want to manage plugin updates, backups and routine checks yourself, or if small website changes keep being postponed because no one is responsible for them.

A care plan works best when the website is in a stable condition. If it has unresolved errors, broken layouts or security problems, I may recommend WordPress website fixes before ongoing care begins. If the site is too dated or difficult to maintain, a website redesign may be a better investment. If you do not have a website yet, start with business website development.

website care plan

WordPress Care Plan start at US$250 per month

The plan covers WordPress core, theme and plugin updates; daily automated backups; security, malware and uptime monitoring; routine performance checks; a monthly website report; and priority email support during normal business days.

Each month includes up to six total hours for maintenance, support and standard content updates. Within that allowance, I can complete up to ten straightforward changes, such as text corrections, image replacements and edits within existing page layouts. The ten updates are included within the six support hours rather than provided as an additional allocation, and the number completed will depend on the complexity of each request and the current website setup.

Unused support hours do not roll over to the following month. New pages, new integrations, custom functionality, substantial design work and requests that exceed the monthly allowance are reviewed and quoted separately before work begins. The plan does not include 24-hour emergency support, guaranteed protection against security incidents or extensive malware removal and website recovery unless separately agreed.

The routine work that keeps a WordPress website dependable

Maintenance is most useful when it happens consistently in the background. The plan brings the essential checks and routine support into one ongoing service.

Updates and Backups

I manage routine WordPress, theme and plugin updates and keep daily automated backups available if the website needs to be restored.

Security and Uptime

I monitor the website for downtime and common security or malware concerns, then investigate alerts that require attention.

Performance Checks

I review routine performance indicators and address straightforward maintenance issues that fall within the agreed plan.

Content and Support

You can send website requests by email. The plan includes up to six total support hours each month, with up to ten standard content updates completed within the available time.

I review the website before the monthly plan begins

I first review the current WordPress setup, plugins, theme, backups and any obvious issues that could affect ongoing maintenance. If the website needs repair or cleanup before it can be supported safely, I will explain the work and quote it separately rather than hide it inside the monthly fee.

Once the site is accepted onto the plan, I schedule routine maintenance, keep monitoring in place and send a monthly report. Standard content requests can be submitted by email, and I will confirm when a request falls outside the plan before doing chargeable work.

NM WebWorks is run by me, Noel Miranda. You communicate directly with the person carrying out the maintenance, reviewing alerts and handling your requests. That continuity makes it easier to understand the website over time and reduces the need to explain the same setup to a different support person each month.

FAQ's

Questions about website care.

Can you maintain a website you did not build?

Yes. I can take on an existing WordPress website after reviewing its current condition, access, hosting and plugin setup. If unresolved problems are found, I will recommend the necessary fixes before the monthly plan starts.

Yes. The care plan runs month to month. You can cancel before the next billing period, and I will provide the agreed handover information for the services managed under the plan.

Standard updates include text corrections, image replacements and straightforward edits within an existing page layout. New pages, redesign work, new integrations and custom functionality are scoped and quoted separately.

I will investigate the alert and use the available backup or maintenance tools to restore normal service where the issue falls within the plan. Extensive malware remediation, hosting failures or third-party problems may require separate work, which I will explain before proceeding.

I normally respond to standard support requests within one to two business days. Monitoring alerts that indicate the website is unavailable or compromised are prioritised, but the care plan is not a 24-hour emergency support service.

No. Hosting, domain registration and third-party licence costs remain separate unless a written project scope specifically says otherwise. I can work with the services already attached to the website and let you know when a renewal or change needs your approval.
